Cabot, Arkansas

We CELEBRATE the life and legacy left by one incredible Donna McNeely. Donna Faye McNeely was born on September 16, 1954 in Dewitt AR to Joyce and Claude Bone- both deceased now. She died on Oct 13th, 2022.

She lived and worked in Stuttgart, Arkansas most of her life. She loved fishing, reading, cooking, dancing, shopping, spending time with family and spoiling her kids and grandkids. She moved to Cabot in 1989.

Her absolute favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13 " I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me." Her other favorite one was John 3:16. She was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church.

She survived 2 rounds of Breast Cancer. It was not the cause of death, but she was a survivor! She was widowed in 2017. Her husband was Robert McNeely. She is survived by two children, her daughter April Gann and her husband Charles Gann and her son, Robert (Bobby) McNeely. She leaves behind her grandkids - Lydia McDaniel 25, Nathan Gann 17, and Anastyn McNeely, 7. She is also survived by her sister Jan Upton- husband Phillip, and nephews Phillip (Stacey), Todd (Upton), Kris (Upton) and Chad (Casey) as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and many other loving close family members. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert McNeely, her sister, Judy Childress, and brother-in-law, Richard Childress.

She was loving, caring generous beyond imagination, a Christian homemaker, wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to all. She was absolutely the most kind, caring, and compassionate person to everyone she ever met.  She always put herself last and remained kind hearted throughout many trials in her life. She always sought out the good in people and never focused on, or even mentioned, the negative. During her cancer treatments 22 years ago, she worked daily through her chemo treatments and radiation, never once complaining. She was an absolute warrior!!

Stargazer Lilies were her absolute favorite flower, she would love for people to send them if they wish or live plants to church where were having her service.

The service is Thursday October 20th,  4 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on 163 Mt Carmel Rd in Cabot, Arkansas, 72023.
