Tanya Desalvo

October 10, 1961 — December 25, 2022

Tanya Renee DeSalvo passed away on December 25th, 2022, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born in Little Rock on October 10th, 1961, to James and Phyllis Long. She grew up in Memphis and Central Arkansas and attended Oak Grove High School, where she was a cheerleader and notable tennis player. She leaves behind five children, though she was regarded as a second mom by many more. She will be remembered for her sincerity, patience, wit, and strength by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Long of North Little Rock.

She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Long of North Little Rock; brothers Jay Long of Dallas, TX and Michael Long of North Little Rock; sisters Shea Kreps of Little Rock and Kristi Duran of Sherwood; son Patrick Westerman of Hot Springs and his wife Molly; son Josh Bradley of Owasso, OK and his wife Alyssa; daughters Cailen Cochran and Anna Grace DeSalvo of Conway; stepdaughter Danielle Fields of Little Rock; and grandchildren Bella, Reese, Blake, Corbin, Raelynn, Davis, Will, and Julia.

At her request, her family will host a celebration of life on a date to be determined.
