Alice Faye (Pearson) Mccarty

Alice Faye Mccarty age 73 of Arkansas City, Arkansas passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus on September 19,2023 after a long battle of Heart and Kidney failure.

Alice Mccarty was born on March 26,1950 to Glenna Mae Pearson and Roy Pearson in Dermott, Arkansas. She attended Arkansas City school and later became a CNA.

Alice and William McCarty reside in Arkansas City for 18 years and have been married as of September 17th for 55 years.

She was Grandma to everyone she met and she loved everyone she came in contact with. She was a true angel and definitely made her impact on everyone life.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Glenna Pearson, sisters- Lucille Light (WR Light), Betsy Tatum ( Richard Tatum) Audell Colts. Brothers- Ray Pearson and Gary Pearson. Great-Granddaughter Amiee Shelly.

Alice is survived by her husband, William Mccarty of Arkansas City, her son, William Mccarty, Jr (Jennifer) of Arkansas City, Arkansas  and her daughter, Sheila McCurdy (Ronald) of Mcgehee Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren - Bret, Cody, Ronee, Casey, Chris, Jason, Willie, Baylee, Meagan, Morgan, her great-grandchildren - Luke, Stella, Gage, Ellie, Carson and Claire as well as her sister, Margaret Fletcher and her brother, Clearance Pearson.

She had numerous children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that called her mom and Grandma.

Services are unknown at this time. She is being cremated and the family will have a small memorial. Contact a family member for more information.
