Barbara Ann (Clary) Neel

Barbara A Neel (Clary) age 73 of Hot Springs, formerly of Rison, passed away Saturday October 7,2023 at Quapaw Nursing Center. Barbara was born December 9, 1949 in Clarksville Arkansas, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ora Mae Clary. She was a graduate of Ozark High School and attended Texas Woman’s University. She was a retired businesswoman, a former owner and creator of Barbarba’s Golden Years in Rison AR.  Barbara was married to Roe S Neel (Pete) for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Lori Neel Sanderford. 

Barbara was an adored wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She was survived by her sister Alta Gibbs of Florida; son, Lance Neel; daughter, Lacy Swayze (John)of Hot Springs AR; six grandchildren, Anthony Brooke(Molly) of Beebe AR, Lynsey Sanderford of Houston TX, Chance Swayze (Tessa) of Palmyra, VA, Cameron Neel (Ana-Mae) of Cabot, AR, Theresa Sigley of Cumberland, MD, and Mahayla Swayze of Hot Springs, AR; Five great grandchildren, Hadley, Layla, Henry, Genevieve, and Harper. 

There will be no funeral services but a graveside memorial at Moore’s Church Cemetery at a later date.
