Barbara Sue Gaiser

June 10, 1956 — October 26, 2025

North Little Rock, Arkansas

Barbara Sue Gaiser, age 69, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, died on October 26, 2025. Sue was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 10, 1956, the sixth of seven children, to the late Norman Edwin Gaiser and the late Mary Patricia Stinson Gaiser.

Sue attended Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic School in Little Rock and was a 1974 graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy. She furthered her education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

Sue enjoyed her quiet life in recent years, but in her working days she was busily employed at several local restaurants, including Buffalo Grill and Pizza Café. She was an avid reader, a self-taught historian, and a resolute Anglophile. She was funny, quick- witted and articulate, often in the manner of a Gilded Age socialite. Her personal style was wholly unique – think Stevie Nicks crossed with Cyndi Lauper – always fun.

Sue might best be remembered as a gifted artist. She created beautiful pieces in acrylic and oil paint, pen-and-ink, charcoal, and watercolor, all of which she happily commissioned for family and friends. In later years she took up cross stitch and needle work, creating small treasures which she gave at Christmas.

Sue is survived by all of her siblings – her sister Patricia G. Lauck and her husband Steve Lauck of Greenwood, Indiana; her brother Norman O. “Jack” Gaiser and his wife Lynda Bass Gaiser of Conway, Arkansas; her sister Deborah K. Dollar and her husband Gary W. Dollar of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her brother James E. Gaiser and his fiancé Deborah K. Bergman of Charlotte, North Carolina; her brother John S. Gaiser and his wife Emily Gaiser of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister Mary Frances Gaiser of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a great many nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled but she will be missed and mourned by her family for all the days to come.
