Barbara June (Harrington) Gentry

Barbara June Gentry, passed on September 23, 2026 with her loving husband by her side. Born September 6, 1950, to Ruby Mae Ballard and Lloyd Harrington. Barbara was a beloved wife to her husband, Gary Gentry, with whom she shared many wonderful years and memories, mother, Granny, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Loyd Harrington, Charles Harrington, and Larry Harrington.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts, including her husband, Gary Gentry and her faithful, plump lap companion Parker; her sister, Carolyn Hopper; and her children, Shannon Littlepage (Donna), Kathi Rangel (Carl), Kristi Glass (Jeff), and Jennifer Gordon (Theo) and her bonus son, Kevin Gentry (Sarah).

Barbara was a devoted Granny and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed a baseball or basketball game, always proudly cheering them on from the stands. Supporting her grandchildren & great grandchildren was one of the great joys of her life, and they always knew that their Granny would be there for them.

Barbara was a proud Granny to six grandchildren: Cameron Herron (Rebecca), Karli Bradley (Josh), Kaitlyn Morgan (Aaron), Chase, Jett, and Jax Gentry. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Abel, Axel, & Atlas Herron, and Emma Bradley. She was eagerly looking forward to welcoming a new great-granddaughter who is on the way.

Barbara will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and loved ones whose lives she touched throughout the years. One thing her family and friends will always remember is that you never left Barbara's house without something in your hands. Whether it was a little treat, something she thought you might need, or a snack from her famously well-stocked snack cabinet. 

Though she will be deeply missed, Barbara's love will continue to live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, extended family, and many friends.
