After graduating from Central High School in Little Rock, she married Charles Winston Jones. The couple travelled for many years during his service in both the United States Air Force and Navy. Bebe returned to Bryant when her last grandchild was born (Jordan), she lived the remainder of her life in the Bebe apartment between her two sons’ homes and helped raise her grandson, Jordan.

Betty traveled whenever possible and especially liked the Oregon Coast and searching for lighthouses with her daughter Jane. She made several trips to New Orleans enjoying both the culture and food.
