Bobby Edward Woodward

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of my brother Bobby Edward Woodward, age 83, of Brinkley, Arkansas. Surrounded by loving family, Bobby went on to meet his Lord on November 21, 2025.

Bobby was born July 22,1942, in his family home in Hunter, Arkansas. His parents were Grady Howard Woodward and Elsie Louise Edwards Woodward. Bobby attended Brinkley High School and was on the BHS Tiger football team. Bobby joined the Navy in 1959. He was on the ship Willis A. Lee during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Bobby had a huge heart, he was everyone’s “Mr. Fix It Man.” He will be remembered for his generosity, being a loyal friend, and for how much he loved his family.

Bobby loved being outdoors fishing and hunting and enjoyed making delicious pecan pies and brownies with pecans he would gather and share with friends. Bobby favorite past time was playing canasta (which he won most of the time) with his “sis” Louise Little and friend Evelyn Hood.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brother Grady Woodward Jr. Bobby is survived in by his sister Louise Little, Carlisle, Arkansas; 3 Nephews, Jason Grady (Renee), Jody Grady (Kerri Leigh), Stuart Woodward (Carrie); 2 Nieces Julie Serna (Joe) and Judith Goodson (Tim); 6 great nephews and 2 great nieces; dear friends Evelyn Hood and Clayton French.

Honoring Bobby’s request no services will be held. There will be a private burial in the Hunter, Arkansas Cemetery. May his memory bring comfort to his family and friends.
