Clinton ‘Scott’ Crockett, of Arkadelphia, was born November 20, 1959 in Paragould, Arkansas, and died September 20, 2026 in Little Rock.
Scott was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, and a great friend to many. He worked as a farmer in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas throughout his life. However, he was foremost an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and bird hunter; and he was uniquely skilled in the training of hunting dogs.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Joanne Yates; his niece, Morgan Crockett; and his nephew, Max Crockett. Scott is survived by his father, Floyd Crockett; his brother, Steve Crockett; his sisters, Kim Crockett and Krystal Hudspeth; his daughter Misty Clardy; his brother-in-law, Heath Hudspeth; his son-in-law, Michael Clardy; his nephew, Harrison Hudspeth; his niece, Krickett Hudspeth; his nephew, Kagen Crockett; his nephew, Nick Papachristou; his great-nephew, Kobe Papachristou; and his grandson, Calvin Clardy. Among those he was closest to and always considered family are Dewayne Harper, Chris Marlar, Tommy Womack, and Matthew Hudspeth. He is also survived by a number of farm cats and his hunting dogs, Ava and Jazzy.
Services to be held at First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia, at 2:00 pm on Friday the 25th of September, 2026.
