Darrel Shillito Heirendt

Darrel Shillito Heirendt May 30 - July 7, 2026 passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Balboa Baptist Church, 415 Ponce de Leon Drive, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 7190 with a 10:00 a.m. visitation and 11:00 a.m. service.

Darrel was a man with many talents. His love for life was displayed in all that he endeavored in. His love of music, sailing, fishing, 4-wheeling, motorcycle riding and most of all his family.

Each of his six brothers and 3 sisters would argue that they were his favorite. His 25 nieces and nephews all concurred Darrel as their favorite uncle. However, his greatest love was his wife, Carol.

Darrel was preceded in death by father Billy Frank Shillito, mother Nina Heirendt and her husband Victor Heirendt and brother Larry.
