David Graham Anderson, 69, passed away on May 17, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family in Little Rock, Arkansas. David was born on November 28, 1956, in Big Spring, Texas, to Percy G. Anderson and Betty Jo Anderson. 

David spent his early years in Midland, Texas, before moving with his family to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1969. He later returned to Texas, graduating from Klein High School in Spring, Texas, in 1974. The summer before high school graduation, David worked in the Northwest Territories of Canada in the oil field and mining industry before beginning a lifelong career marked by hard work, dedication, and technical skill.

He attended McMurry College in Abilene, Texas, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Business Administration in 1980. During his timing college in Abilene, Texas, he met the love of his life Laura Lynn where they eventually moved to Knox city, Texas and worked as an oilfield electrician where he help raised three wonderful children, Brian (born 1981), Candace (born 1983), and Heather (born 1988) until the his divorce in 1994.

 After the divorce he moved to San Marcos, Texas where he worked in several fields including surveying, environmental services, electrical work, and mechanical construction on HVAC systems. He was known for his strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to help others. David spent the last two decades working in the mechanical construction HVAC industry. He worked for Air Technologies as a lead technician before spending the final 13 years of his career with Energy Testing & Balance, where one of his greatest joys was working alongside his son until retirement. In the years leading up to retirement, David also taught HVAC classes for SI Mechanical, mentoring apprentice-level students and sharing the knowledge and skills he had gained throughout his career. He took great pride in passing his trade and expertise on to future generations.

David found joy in the simple things in life — playing golf, walking his dogs, visiting with his children and grandchildren, and enjoying fine whiskey with family and friends. He had a deep love for his dogs, and treasured time spent with those he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Anderson; his father, Percy G. Anderson; his stepmother, Doris Anderson; and his beloved dogs, Max and Romeo. David is survived by his son, Brian Anderson and wife Paige, and their children, Ryden and Presley Jo; his daughter, Candace Slate and husband Cody, and their children, Gavin, Addison, Harper, and Gage; his daughter, Heather Rosetti and husband Tony, and their children, Noah and Grayson; his brother, Alan Anderson and wife Maria; his sister, Amy Owen and husband Bart; his dog, Sally; along with countless cousins, nieces, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

A memorial service will be held at Blackwell, Texas Cemetery on June 13 at 2:00 p.m. if you are interested in attending and have any questions or comments , you can contact his son through David’s cell phone # 512-376-1723.
