David "Dave" Rands Croy, 51, of Arkansas, passed away on July 21, 2026. Born on June 16, 1975, Dave was a man of many talents, a deep love for music, and a passion for the great outdoors.
Professionally, Dave was a dedicated employee at Arkansas Rooter at the time of his passing. He was also a highly skilled cabinet maker and woodworker, a craft that showcased his patience and precision. Beyond his work, Dave was an incredibly gifted musician who could pick up almost any instrument, frequently playing the guitar, banjo, mandolin, and piano. When he wasn't playing music, he could be found in the woods.
He was a skilled huntsman and an avid deer slayer, well-known for his hunting adventures alongside his trusted gun, "Black Death."
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Croy Atwood (Bill); his grandparents, Pete and Alice Croy; Uncle, Randy “Fatman” Croy; and his adoptive parents, Hoyt and Betty Yarberry.
He is survived by his two brothers, Jerald Croy of Malvern and John Croy of Sheridan; his uncle, JC James Croy of Redfield; his aunt, Marilyn Croy Wilson (Edward) of Sheridan; six cousins; and a large, tight-knit circle of friends whom he truly considered family.
A graveside service at Orion Cemetery in Redfield will be announced by the family in the coming days.
