David Shayne Henderson

David “Shayne” Henderson, age 60, passed away on July 2, 2025. He was born in Prescott, Arkansas at the Cora Donnell Hospital to Carla and John Henderson on November 4,1964.

His happiest years of life were spent in Little Rock, Arkansas where he attended John L. McCellan High School, loved driving and working on cars and motorcycles, listening to country music and having fun with friends. In later years he developed a talent for drawing, painting and writing poems that will be treasured memories for his loved ones. Shayne worked in construction where he enjoyed his job of roofing residential and commercial buildings.

Shayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, father John Henderson, sister Melissa Henderson, and nephew Jessie Henderson. He is survived by his loving mother Carla Henderson (Lee Spell), children, Logan Strom and Lesley Megan Smith, sister Sherry Harvey and nephew Billy Harvey. He was loved by many family members especially his Aunt Margaret West, cousin Karen Blevins and friends Sherry Inscore, Leon Moore, and Aunt Elsi and her husband Leonard.
