Donald James Blackburn

Donald James Blackburn (17) of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on July 29th 2025. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas September 7th 2007.

Donalds love for cartoons, animated movies, video games and nostalgia led to a remarkable passion for animation. His unfathomable knowledge of who drew each character (including the particular artist for each era), as well as knowing exactly who scored the music for ANY and ALL things animated was nothing short of awe inspiring. His creative spirit, imagination and drive were truly amazing and without a doubt inspirational to those that he crossed paths with.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the many teachers that Donald has had over the years. Know that he spoke of you often. The loving support made a huge difference in his life. Our family is truly grateful for you all!

Donald is Proceeded in death by his loving Mother Mary I. Blackburn.

He is survived by his Father James (Jim) Blackburn, Grandmother Nancy Hollinger, his aunts Carol and Angella, his Uncle Roger Jr. and the many cousins that loved and continue to love him.

At this time, the family plans on a small intimate gathering with family as this has been an unexpected, devastating time for us.
