God called Edna Glass home on July 13, 2026. She was born in Little Rock, AR, was a lifelong member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army, and retired from U.C.P. Edna was preceded in death by her parents Ray Thomas Taber and Menervia Hattie (Thompson) Taber, brothers Kenneth Taber, Jimmy Taber and Robert Taber, sisters Fayrene Dodge and Pauline Rowland, and son Donald Ray Glass, Jr. Surviving siblings are Linda Gates of Alexander, AR, Wanda Garlington (Max) of Carthage, AR and Billy Taber (Virginia) of Hooks, TX. Edna is also survived by sons Carl Glass (Kennetta) of Little Rock, AR, Jeffery Glass (Kristi) of Bryant, AR, and daughter Paula Glass of Bryant, AR. Edna was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of beloved friends.

Edna enjoyed helping people, decorating, preparing meals for holidays and events, crafting, quilting, and especially spending time with family and loved ones. She was held in the highest regard for her faith, loving nature, strength, kindness, and generosity. She will be missed dearly.

The family thanks Gentiva Hospice and Midwest Oxygen for their tender loving care when it was needed most.

A Memorial Service in Edna’s honor will be held on August 1, 2026 at 1:00pm at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Road in Little Rock, AR
