Gabrielle Lynnwood Daniel, 81, of Little Rock, Arkansas entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2025. She was born June 24, 1943 in Camden, Arkansas as Mary Elizabeth Garrett, daughter of Guy and Junie Lucas Garrett. She was then raised from early childhood by her mother and doting stepfather, Broadus Harlen Daniel.
Gabrielle is predeceased in death by her parents, three brothers, Andy Garrett Matthews, Elmer “Buddy” Garrett, John David Daniel and two sisters, Evelyn Garrett Deahl, Faye Garrett Nelson.
She is survived by her only child born of her union with Charles Callicott, son, Steven Callicott (Andrea) of Arkansas, and three grandsons, Spencer Callicott of Alabama, Marshall (Darcey) Callicott of Mississippi, and Brodie Callicott of Arkansas.
Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews as she was affectionately known to them as "Aunt Cissie". Gabby drew many into her fold and we would be remiss not to also include those she referred to as "extra" sons and daughters along her journey in life. She loved everyone.
Her family wishes to remember her full of life before the multiple medical issues caused her decline in health.
Her favorite past times during her lifetime were honing her culinary skills. She LOVED to cook and self-published a cookbook of her favorites. In addition to that, owning and cruising in her luxury sports cars over her lifetime gave her great joy. And who can forget her QVC & HSN shopping sprees! She acquired many treasures and generously shared with others. Generous to a selfless fault, those hobbies were only eclipsed by her love of animals! She always had a heart for her adopted pets. Spoiling each and every one. We can imagine the reunion of so many barks, meows, squeals, wagging tails, cuddles and kisses they all had for her when she got to heaven.
During the early years she had owned her own small business and crafted her path to success.
Her former co-workers would tell you how extraordinarily talented Gabby was at her former job positions after she closed her business. Countless awards, accolades and bonuses earned for being a repeated top performer. She set the bar high. Well respected among her peers, prior to her well deserved retirement, where she had coupled tenaciousness with her astute business skill set in collections.
But alas, faith and family were most important. She was fiercely proud of her family especially those grandkids. Always sharing pictures and success stories to anyone who would listen. GrandMom will be missed in so many ways. Her legacy will be carried on by those three precious grandsons.
In saying goodbye now, it just means until we all gather in heaven. She was assured of her faith & her eternity. She wants that for all those she leaves behind.
In honor of Lynn's legacy of love, memorial donations may be made to charities she supported such as Arkansas Children's Hospital or the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
