III Howell

Dewey Jefferson "Jeff" Howell III, age 56, of Magnolia, AR went to be with his heavenly father on March 17, 2012. Jeff was born on September 17, 1955 and passed away in Little Rock surrounded by loving children and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Jefferson Howell II and Charlene Howell both of McGehee, AR. Jeff is survived by his two loving sisters, Deborah Howell Schwarz of Raleigh, NC; Michelle Howell Coffey of Louisburg, NC; four children, daughter Sarah Howell Baty of Cabot, AR; Son David J. Howell and wife Stacy Howell of Magnolia, AR; daughter Mary Heinze of Magnolia, AR; daughter Molly Goddard of Okinawa, Japan. Also by 12 vibrant loving grandchildren and his longtime loving companion Rook, who sat next to him for the last ten years. Jeff, was a free spirit, who lived his life to the fullest, making a lot of friends along the way. He never met a stranger, never passed a hitchhiker he wouldn’t pick up, and always had a great story to tell, because he had lived such a life. There was nothing he loved more than his children and grandchildren. Jeff was surrounded with lifelong friends and family that had walked this road with him over his short life. The family will be holding a private ceremony in his remembrance in McGehee, AR where he will be laid to rest. The family requests that in lieu of flowers or memorials that donations may be made to Morehouse Challenge 12139 Old Bonita Rd., Bastrop, LA 71220, a faith based non-profit solution so that others may be set free. In the end we remember "It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’" Luke 15:32 ESV.
