James Allen Frolik, Sr.

James Allen “Jim” Frolik, Sr., age 76, passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on September 16, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. His service reflected the quiet strength and dedication that defined his life.

Jim married his wife, Nancy Rice Frolik, on December 27, 1971. Together they welcomed their son, James Allen “Mack” Frolik, Jr., on June 3, 1975.

Jim was proceeded in death by his parents, James Anton Frolik and Mildred Prochazka Frolik.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his wife, Nancy Frolik; his son, Mack (Carri) Frolik; his beloved grandchildren, Mason and Gracie Frolik; his sister, Carol Lett; his nephew Stan (Winaida) Lett; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on May 2, 2026 at 1:00pm at Rocky Branch Holiness Church, Guntersville, Alabama. Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm. Rev. James Bridges and Rev. Matt Long Officiating.
