Jamie Wayne Jackson ,47 of Jessieville left this earthly home on July 7,2026 from heart failure. He was the son of Randy Clarence Jackson and Sarah Dawn Smith-Wylie. His failing health the last few years kept him from the work he loved as a carpenter. His brothers often talk about how he was like a cat on the top plate and how he could keep a 4 man crew running as cut man.

The last few years he spent his time helping keep the property up,cutting firewood for the neighbors and repairs. His favorite hobby was knives, whether it was cleaning,sharpening,repairing or making new ones.

Jamie loved his large family in spite of being a hermit,he didn't miss many gatherings. He will be greatly missed.

Jamie is preceded in death by his father Randy Clarence Jackson,his grandparents Clarence and Bobbie Lambert Jackson, Jerry Wayne Smith, great grand parents Bill and Gentry Lambert, Charlie and Minnie Bennett Carpenter and his sister Angela Nicole Rogers.

He is survived by his mother Sarah Dawn Smith-Wylie, his grandmother Georgia Carpenter Kennedy, Uncles Craig and Clint Smith, Aunts Shelia Carter, Lisa Wilkins, Cindy Jackson Shepard and Cassie, his sisters Sarah Beth Smith, Amy May Rogers, brothers Mark Anthony Rogers,Jr.,Joeseph Lee Rogers, Matthew Abram Rogers, his children Ariel Dawn Jackson, Emily Elizabeth Jackson, Isabella Grace Jackson, Randy Noah Jackson, niece Madison Nicole Mudgett, great nephew Camden Kayson Mudgett and way to many more nieces, nephews and cousins to name.

The family would like to extend a Great Big “Thank You” to Pop Allan Mudgett, Darlene Mosley, Leanie Mudgett and Ritchie Aleksiejczyk for helping take care of him.

The family invites everyone to an informal Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 12 noon at 392 Kevin Rd., Jessieville, AR 71949
