Jordan Reece Byrum

Jordan Reece Byrum, 32, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 19, 2026.

Jordan was born on November 6, 1993, in Elmira, New York, to Curtis Byrum and Beverly (Byrum) Becker. He graduated from Benton High School in 2012 and soon moved to Vancouver, BC. He had a passion for engineering, art, sports, and the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed camping and kayaking, and was even a sponsored athlete.

There was very little Jordan could not accomplish when he set his mind to it, and he faced life with courage and determination. His innate curiosity about the world was evident to anyone who engaged him in conversation. More often than not, he could tell you something you didn’t know about the topic you were discussing, regardless of how remote or obscure the subject might have been. He was a talented visual artist whose paintings and illustrations were admired by those with whom he shared his gifts. Jordan had a gentle nature and sweet spirit, and always made sure his family knew how deeply he cared for them.

Jordan is survived by his father, Curtis Byrum, and wife, Sue, of Dallas, TX; his mother, Beverly Becker, and husband, Tim, of Benton, AR; his brother, Jarrett (Roseanne); his niece, Phoebe; his nephew, Ian, all of Redondo Beach, CA; and his sister, Janie, of San Francisco, CA.

A memorial service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at First Baptist Church Benton, officiated by Senior Pastor Clay Cunningham.

Jordan's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
