Judy Elizabeth (Zschach) McKenna

Judith Elizabeth McKenna passed peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 82 from a courageous battle with cancer.
 
Judy was born in Dallas, TX on March 19, 1941 to the late Harold Zschach and Elizabeth Sellers Zschach.  She is preceded in death by her husband, George and survived by her children, Kim Knollmeyer and her
husband George, Terry Pfeiffer and her husband Greg, Steven Whitt and his wife Doris, Andrea Boren and her husband Ed, Greg McKenna and his wife Lynn.
 
Judy, also known as GG, Nana and Grandma, will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren and their spouses: Chris and Blair Knollmeyer, Laura and Mike MacLennan, Steven Knollmeyer, Hannah and Jake Sligh, Austin and Chelsey Pfeiffer, Barrett Pfeiffer, Connor Whitt, Abby Whitt, and Shelby McKenna, along with her great-grandchildren:  Chase Knollmeyer, Ben Knollmeyer, Peyton MacLennan, Adam MacLennan, Ava Sligh, Ella Sligh, Beau Pfeiffer and her many nieces and nephews.
 
Judy enjoyed life, family, and many friends. She was passionate in her love of flowers, her dogs, and in showing hospitality by creating Taste of the Southwest with her sister Pat. One of her biggest joys was absolutely
doing anything with her grandchildren when they asked her to. She will be missed, but memories with her will never be forgotten.
 
A graveside service will be scheduled in Tyler, TX at a future date.
