Keith M. Dixson

Keith M. Dixson, age 55, of Gifford, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1970, to Emmett M. Dixson Sr. and Linda Montgomery.

Keith was a homebuilder and business contractor who cherished his family. He graduated from Malvern Senior High School in Malvern, Arkansas. Raised on a farm, he enjoyed various hobbies, including hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and golfing. Keith was an exceptional motocross racer for many years, amassing several trophies that showcased his talent. He had a passion for music, loved playing the guitar, and enjoyed singing. The outdoors was his preferred environment, and he often chose it over being indoors. Keith was also the owner of River Run Canoe & Tubing, where he enjoyed canoeing, tubing, and kayaking.

Keith is survived by his mother, Linda J. Montgomery Conklin (and her husband, Jerry S. Conklin Sr.), and his father, Emmett M. Dixson Sr. (and his wife, Rita), who played a parental role in his life). He is also survived by his former wife of 21 years, Penny D. Chenoweth; his children, Heavenly F. Dixson, Destiny D. Dixson, Noah A. Dixson, Chloe M. Walker, Laney Dixson, and Sabrina Ernst; his brothers, Emmett M. Dixson Jr., Chris R. Golden (Brianna), and Jerry S. Conklin Jr.; his sisters, Sheila D. Williams (Creig) and Holly M. Carr (Kevin); his girlfriend, Lisa Lockwood, who cared for him throughout his illness; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.C. Jack Montgomery (Vernie L.), Johnny E. Dixson (Jewel E.), Autrey L. Hightower (Marie), and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at North Malvern Assembly of God, located at 411 Fairview Street, on Monday, September 22, 2026 at 2 p.m., with Brother Tony Burrow officiating.
