Kevin Douglas Evans

Kevin Douglas Evans, age 49 passed away peacefully, after a battle of Leukemia on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on January 9, 1974. He graduated in 1992 from Benton High School with honors in Benton, Arkansas. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pulaski Technical College with an Associates Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical  Engineering Technology. Kevin was employed by Dassault Falcon Jet until his health failed. 

Kevin is survived by his parents, Norman “Doug” and Nancy Evans, daughter, Shelby Leann Evans, son, Michael Douglas Evans, sister, Kathy (Tony) Flores, Aunt Peggy (Jay) White and cousins Christy (Donald) Sowell and David (Selena) Berry, Jr.

Kevin was preceded in death by cousin, Joey Robertson, Uncle David Berry Sr., niece Makenzie Flores and grandparents.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Akash Mukherjee, M.D, his extended staff, 7th floor nurses of UAMS and Hospice Home Care of Little Rock.

Memorials can be made to the Leukemia Foundation @ UAMS Cancer Institute, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Kevin’s Memorial will be held at a later date.
