Lenore Winkle

Lenore Jo Behnke Winkle, age 90, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on June 28th, 2011. Jo, as most knew her, was preceded in death by her mother and father, Chester Joe and Alice White, her first husband Robert Behnke, son Bobby Behnke, and brother G.W. White. Jo is known in the Little Rock area as the long-time manager of Hanks Dog House during the 1950’s and 60’s, then for many years she managed Murry’s Dinner Playhouse. She was a loving and outgoing person who loved people and her family. She is survived by her loving son Larry Behnke Sally of Florida, husband Glen Winkle of Little Rock, two grandchildren: Larry Kyle Behnke Amy of North Little Rock and Kandyce Sorensen Lee of Cabot; three great-grandchildren: Jacob, Lindsey, and Kylie; her brother Fred White Judy of Little Rock, and three step-daughters: Kay Fisher, Pat Smee, and Sandra Vosburg. Memorial services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., July 1st, 2011 at Crosswalk Family of God Church, 10600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR.
