Linda (Cochran) Hassett, 60, of Pearcy, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on September 12, 1965, Linda was a kindhearted and selfless woman whose life was defined by love, compassion, and service to others. She dedicated nearly 20 years to Walmart, where her strong work ethic and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her days. Known for her generosity and willingness to help anyone in need, Linda’s heart was truly one of gold.
She also shared her warmth with a multitude of caring and loving friends, who became an extension of her family over the years. Whether through laughter, encouragement, or a simple act of kindness, Linda touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving behind countless memories of love and friendship that will never be forgotten.
In her quiet moments, she enjoyed relaxing at home and watching her favorite television shows, especially the excitement of game shows and the heartwarming stories on the Hallmark Channel. She also adored her loyal fur baby, Loki Hassett, whose constant companionship brought her great comfort and joy.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Hassett; her daughters, Melinda (Jordan) Dobbs, Jennifer (Kyle) Douberly, Tiffany (Jonathan) Schee, and Miranda (Joshua) Sandgren-Thomas; her stepsons, Tommy (Kayla) Wimberly, Steven Wimberly, and Harley Hassett; and her sister, Terry Cochran. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of devoted friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Ann Cochran and Horace Wade Cochran, and her brother, Jerry Cochran.
Linda will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her devotion to family and friends, and her ability to brighten any room with her gentle smile. Her legacy of love and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
