Loretta Monique (Ward) Herndon

Loretta Ward Herndon, age 64, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away on February 1, 2026. She was born on December 21, 1961.

Loretta was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a deep love for caring for others and found her greatest joy in being a grandma. Whether she was spending time with her family, playing games, or relaxing while watching television, Loretta cherished the simple moments that brought people together. Her kindness, warmth, and nurturing spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Monteen Ward, and by her beloved husband, Roy Herndon.

Loretta is survived by her son, Chris Greenhaw, his wife Shannon, and their son Hunter; her daughter, Jessica Rhoades, her husband Adam, and their children Keegan and Keelei. She is also survived by her sisters Leah, Shelia, and Sherri; her brother Mark; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved her dearly.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Loretta will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband at the VA cemetery at a later date.
