Lori Joann Sattler

Lori JoAnn Sattler, 64 years old, sadly passed away in her home on Thursday, April 24 in Maumelle, Arkansas after a life richly lived in service and kindness. Lori was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on August 13, 1960, to John George Sattler and Sarah Sue Barton, both predeceased. 

She had recently moved to Maumelle, Arkansas after living most of her life in Little Rock, Arkansas. Lori was unmarried and is survived by her brothers, Michael Lynn Sattler of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Mark John Sattler of Plano, Texas, and her sister Jaqueline Susanne Sheets of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Her life was best remembered by her love and devotion of animals, especially dogs, having rescued many animals throughout her life and contributing countless hours volunteering at animal shelters. She adopted the old, discarded, and unwanted animals, and provided them a loving and safe home and meaningful life. Her passing dims a special heavenly light beacon and leaves a void in our community, both human and animal.
