Martha Ann (Davis) Mahaffey

Martha Mahaffey of Little Rock, Arkansas, died on August 17, 2025. She was born on December 15, 1937, to Jessie Marvin Davis and Reva Mae Jaggars Davis in Leola, Arkansas.

She is predeceased by her parents; her siblings Freda (Rip) Davis Thomas and Marjorie Davis (Raymond) Christian; her first husband George Lloyd Hollister, Jr., her son Peter Eugene Hollister, and her son-in-law Tom Stofka. She is survived by her husband Ted Mahaffey, her children: Marta (Tom Stofka) Hollister, Lloyd (Lyn) Hollister, and Kathy Hollister (Tom) Daymude, grandchildren Bella Hollister, Barbie (Rick) Daymude Reinard, Chip (Kelly) Daymude, and greatgrandchildren Penny and Augie Daymude.

Martha earned a BA in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College and an MPA from New York University. She was an excellent nurse and nursing director, an angelic singer, a creative home designer, an adept horsewoman, and, most of all, a beloved matriarch. 

A casual celebration of her life was held on Friday, August 23rd .
