Melinda Sue (Martindale) Huntley

Melinda Sue Martindale Huntley was born on April 10, 1964, in Fordyce, AR to James and Mary Jo Pennington Martindale. She went home to be with Jesus on October 13, 2023.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ben Huntley of 19 years, her daughters Natasha Trammell of Fordyce, AR, Amanda Huntley Shrader and Husband LarryLee of Huntsville, AR, Christina Huntley and Evan Pearson of Green Forest, AR. and a son Shane Huntley Sr. of Eureka Springs and adopted daughter Julia Lanthrip of Fordyce, AR. She is survived by her thirteen grandchildren - Shane Huntley Jr., Shayla Berry and husband Jeremy, Marissa Shields, Hellen Shrader, Alanna Huntley, Savannah Morris, Kaylee Shrader, Jerold Morris III, Caven Pearson, Kylee Trammell, Thomas Morris, Diesel Pearson, Thelma Pearson, Terence Pearson, Gracelynn Hayes, Everett Pearson, and Hudson Pearson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren - Liam Berry, Thaddeus Berry, Sister Gail Moffett and Husband Eddie of Rison, AR, and one Brother Kenny Martindale and wife Christal of Fordyce, AR. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Jo Martindale, two brothers James Earl and Tony Jo Martindale, her grandparents , aunts, uncles, and her mother-in-law Kay Huntley and father-in-law  Bill Huntley Sr.

 

A memorial service will be held on October 28, 2023 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church at 10:00am.
