Michael Steven Glenn, 75, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away peacefully Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born June 6, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Deryle and Claudia Jo Glenn.

Steve grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from McClellan High School in 1967. Much of his life he was a businessman, working in the trucking industry. In the 80's he managed, coached and played for Glenn Brothers Trucking softball team and spent many weekends traveling to tournaments all across the south, long before traveling softball was a thing. In 2000, he was inducted into the Arkansas Softball Hall of Fame.

He was community minded and served on the Bryant City Council and the Bryant Athletic Association Board for years. He had a passion for all things baseball. Steve was known for his positive attitude, kind spirit and generous heart. God truly blessed our family with an encouraging and supportive son, husband, father and grandfather. He leaves a beautiful legacy for all who knew him.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Deryle Glenn; brothers, Joe Ray Glenn and Jeff Glenn. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Joanna Glenn; his mother, Claudia Jo Glenn of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brothers, Phil Glenn of Little Rock, Arkansas; Randy Glenn of Wylie, Texas; children, Joy Sawyer (Buzz) of Bryant, Arkansas; Kim Rousseau (Saul) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Jimmy Lynch of Bryant, Arkansas; Michael Glenn (LeAnn) of Benton, Arkansas. Six grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as Pappy; Tyler Sawyer, Tara Iser (Steven); Maddox and Nate Rousseau; Alex Fulenwider (Matt) and Ryan Glenn. Steve was also graced by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers, Steve's family kindly requests donations be made to the Bryant Athletic Association Steve Glenn Memorial.
