Patrick David Koch

Patrick David Koch, 70, of Hot Springs passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Chi St. Vincent Hospital, with his loving wife Tammy and brother-in-law David by his side.

Pat is survived by his wife Tammy Koch; Sons Christopher Koch, Michael Koch and wife Chelsea, Daniel Koch and wife Summer; granddaughter Genevieve Koch; siblings Donna Culver, Mark Koch and wife Janie, Paul Koch and wife Lynne, and Rose Palsgaard and husband Eric; father-in-law Leo Raith; brother-in-law David Raith; along with many cousins, nephews and nieces and countless cherished friends.

Pat is preceded in death by his father, Christopher Koch; mother, Clara Winn; siblings Larry Koch, Mike Koch, Rita Staber and Martin Koch; mother-in-law Patricia Raith; and brother-in-law Bob Culver.

Patrick was born to Christopher and Clara (Lux) Koch on November 1, 1955 in Sioux City, IA. From an early age, Pat spent much of his youth working on the family farm. Pat worked many jobs along the way, eventually owning and operating a Roto Rooter business for 30 years in Hot Springs Arkansas. On October 17, 1981, Pat married his beloved wife Tamara (Raith) Koch and enjoyed 44 happy years of marriage.

Pat was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 7, 1976. He was known for his deep love for Jehovah God and his strong belief in the Bible’s promises. He found joy and purpose in serving Jehovah and sharing his faith with others. Pat was a very hard worker who was dedicated to providing for his family. As a devoted husband and loving father, he cherished time spent with his family, as well as traveling, spending time outdoors, swimming, and eating good food. Despite his long-term battle with FTD and later ALS, Patrick was always known for being compassionate, loving, kind, and joyful. Patrick had an infectious smile and loved making others laugh. Patrick will never be forgotten and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on March 28, 2026 at 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 225 Marion Anderson Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913. The service will be officiated by Pete Krolczyk.
