Roland Clarence Baus

Roland Baus, 88 of Morrilton, Arkansas died on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxy Baus, his parents Edwin and Gertrude Baus, his brother, Melvin Baus, and his great granddaughter, Lillian Henson. 

Roland was a member of The Church of God International in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1959. He retired from Wayne Smith Trucking Company in 2022. 

He loved the outdoors, animals, books, poems and his family and friends. 

He passed away peacefully in a room full of love with family and friends. He is survived by his two daughters, Rayna Baus and Rena Baus, two granddaughters, Jeris Whitbey and Reyanna Baus, and three great grandchildren. He also is survived by many friends, including a close personal friend, Colleen Crump of Cabot, Arkansas. 

Services are to be held at a later date in Jacksonville, Arkansas
