Sandra Leah (Hope) Martz

SANDRA HOPE MARTZ, who a wonderful mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, with family surrounding her on June 6, 2023 at the age of 79 years after her long battle with Alzheimer's. Sandra was the middle of four siblings. She was born to Stanley Rue Hope and Alice Irene Robinson on March 11, 1944 in Watervliet, Michigan.

Sandra was known for her loving kindness, her care and compassion for others and her beautiful smile. Sandra was an artist who loved to draw and had a special passion for watercolor painting. She was also an exceptional seamstress who loved to make clothing for her children. She also crocheted blankets for every one of her grandchildren. One of her greatest enjoyments was having family and friends gather at her lake house in Oklahoma.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Jimmie Martz; parents, Stanley and Alice Hope; brother, Thomas Hope; sister, Susan Hope. She is survived by her daughter, Lisabeth Kellett (Brian) of Kaufman, Texas; son, David Gruszka (Alisha) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, Richard Gruszka of Hot Springs, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Jamie Reneau (Shane) of Krum, Texas; sister, Tracy Bunn of Moses Lake, Washington; stepsisters, Beverly Kucera of Port Orange, Florida; Alice Martin of Belton, Texas; Lynn Galusky of New Mexico; Patricia Caughlin of Florida and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sandra was loved by many and will be missed by all until reunited in Heaven. Her smile and laughter were contagious to all.

A private and intimate Celebration of Life will be held July 8, 2023 at Sandy's beautiful lake house in Oklahoma.
