Vickie is preceded in death by her mother Doris Elaine Thrash Mitchell, her father Michael Jason Mitchell, step mother Faye Nell Mitchell, one sister Denise Poore Knight and one brother Joseph Mitchell.

Vickie was the proud and loving mother to her only son, Timothy Matthews. She was also a loving Mimi to her granddaughter Jaycee Davis of Seminary. Vickie always kept them both near and dear in her heart and her prayers.

Vickie touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever. Her greatest joy was her relationship with Jesus Christ, and she wanted everyone she met to have a relationship with her Saviour as well. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in all of us. We know Vickie is no longer in pain and rejoicing at the feet of her Saviour.
