Wanda Cochran

Wanda Shepherd Cochran, 84 of Little Rock was born March 11, 1928 and died November 2nd at UAMS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Cross Shepherd and Laban B. Shepherd, and her husband Hal L. Cochran. Wanda was an honors graduate of North Little Rock High School and UALR, where she completed a Masters degree in Social Work. She was active in community organizations and a member of St. James Methodist Church. Wanda is survived by four children, Joe N. Cochran and David S. Cochran of Little Rock, Kathy Cochran Walsh of Southern Pines, NC, and Steven D. Cochran of Los Angeles, CA and one grandson, Zachary Cochran Sobel from Jupiter, FL. Her surviving sister, Mrs. Arthur L. Eastin III, and family live in Little Rock. A family memorial will be held in Southern Pines, NC, Sunday, November 11th.
