William Furqueron

William "Willy" Lee Furqueron, age 55 of Little Rock died Thursday, May 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 2, 1956 in Flint Michigan to Katherine Rumbold Furqueron and the late William Hudgins Furqueron. He was preceded in death by his sister: Cheryl Furqueron and his father. Willy was a roofer by occupation and a Marine Corp veteran. He was a proud member of the CMA and especially enjoyed spreading the ministry to the youth. He is survived by his mother: Katherine Furqueron , his son: William Thomas Furqueron and grandson Gage Furqueron all of Little Rock, his brothers: Jeff Furqueron of San Marcos, CA, Greg Furqueron of Little Rock, and Marshall Furqueron of Norfolk, VA, sister: Cynthia Plott of Little Rock, and six nieces and nephews and additional extended family that will miss him. Memorial services will be held Monday, June 4th, at the Church of the Word, 21102 Arch St., in East End officiated by Pastor Danny Draper beginning with a Fellowship luncheon at 12:00 noon followed by services at 2:00 p.m.
