William Charles Sindledecker, III

June 21, 1972 — February 21, 2026

Little Rock, Arkansas

A service to celebrate the life of William Charles Sindledecker, III will be held on Sunday, March 29th at 11:40 AM at McIntosh Presbyterian Church.

Will was born on June 21, 1972, at Fort Benning, Georgia. He spent much of his childhood in Carrollton, Georgia, alongside his mother and grandmother. Although primarily raised by his mother and later his stepfather, he also spent some of his teenage years with his father, William Charles Sindledecker, Jr., in North Carolina and Texas. He attended Gainesville High School.

From a young age, Will was known for his kindness, creativity, and imagination. He enjoyed reading, writing, and music, and embraced the joys of small-town life including participating in sports, band, scouts, and games. As an adult, Will penned short stories which he warmly shared with friends and family.

In his twenties, Will moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where he met and married Carrie Weinsenburger. The couple later lived in Florida before separating. Throughout his life, Will lived in several states and explored a variety of careers including cooking, train maintenance, food service, security, and semi-truck driving. His travels took him to Montana, where he committed his life to Christ. Though he later strayed from this path, his earlier commitment was strong.

In his thirties, Will moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, to live with his uncle Michael Kerr. Both unmarried, they provided each other with companionship and support. These years were some of the best for Will, as he enjoyed creating art, cooking, and working with his hands.

Will is survived by his mother and stepfather, Suzanne Kerr (pronounced “car”) Sindledecker and James Barrell; his half-sister, Harmony Sindledecker Little (Danny); his aunts and uncles, David and Ann Kerr, Kathy and Juan Barnes, and Arnold and Lucy Sindledecker; as well as cousins in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Nancy Sindledecker, Betty Kerr Hady, Walter Douglas Kerr; his aunt JoAnn Brumback Sides; and uncles Michael Kerr, Rick Furlong, and Howard Sindledecker.

The family will hold a small private service later to spread Will’s ashes in Georgia, where many family members are laid to rest.

William will be deeply missed by all who knew him but there is comfort in knowing he was never outside God’s grace.
