With Deepest Condolences Katie. I pray Sofia and Kelly meet in Heaven and can share their love of wildlife. Though we only met once at Christmas 2019, his love for you, his sisters and family showed.

I was stationed with Kelly in Italy for about two years. He and I stayed in touch for the last 14-15 years and always managed to have an interesting or entertaining conversation about something—whether it was about a new album that came out, hunting, what he was doing for work, or simply reminiscing about our time at Darby, which was often the case. I was so impressed with where he was headed with his career and how much he had achieved in such a short time. He was a great person and I will miss hearing from him.

Kelly was a bright and dedicated young biologist who in a very short time made major contributions to the conservation of natural resources in Arkansas. Those of us who knew him best are devastated by his untimely death.  As I ponder what might have been his accomplishments with a full career in conservation, I am thankful for the few years he did give us. Rest in Peace, Kelly. Your work will be carried on by your colleagues.
