Kalissa Lee

March 27, 1990 — June 2, 2019

Kalissa Marquita Lee was born March 27, 1990 in Little Rock, AR.  She grew up in Bryant, AR.  She was the oldest of 5 siblings who she cherished most is life.  She graduated from Bryant High School in 2008.  She attended UALR in 2013-2014 in hopes of working with deaf children.  As sickness began to take her body, Kalissa never let it take her mind, heart, or soul.

She loved those close to her with all her being, and loved those she didn’t know just the same.  Like a rare gem, only a chosen few were able to see how truly beautiful, kind, intelligent, funny, and selfless she was.  Kalissa donated to St. Judes and other organizations that help children.  She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.  She loved and trusted the Lord.  She returned home to him on June 2, 2019.  Kalissa was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.  She will truly be missed, but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Ruby Crane “Gee-Gee.”

Survivors include her mother Angela Lee Coleman (Joe) of Bryant; father John Lee of Little Rock; step-father Wayne Lee (Paula) of Little Rock; grandparents Lynn and Glen Robinson of Alexander and Brenda and Frank Lee of Bryant; her siblings Anthony Lee (Kristen) of Maumelle, Brenda Lee and Eric Lee of Bryant, Jordan Lee of Atlanta, Georgia, Jaylin Lee and Chloe Lee of Little Rock, and Robyn Kimbrough of Bryant; niece Kylie Renea; nephew Jesse Tyler; many aunts and uncles; cousins and friends.

A celebration of Kalissa's life will be held at 11:30am, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Salem United Methodist Church, 1647 Salem Road, Benton, Arkansas 72019 with Rev. Carlton Cross officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:30am.
