Marilyn Lester

Marilyn Kay Lester, age 71, of Vilonia, Arkansas, peacefully passed away August 17th, 2021.

She was born April 10th, 1950 in Hamilton, Missouri to the late Jesse Edgar & Dolores Leach Lester. Although she worked 21 years at Virco, she retired from Subway at the age of 62. She enjoyed being outside, going for walks & watching nature. She also enjoyed looking at the sunset every night. Her pride & joy was always gardening & watching her flowers bloom each spring. One of her favorite things was watching Magnum PI reruns & cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs & St Louis Cardinals.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents & 3 brothers. Stanley, Keith & Paul. She is survived by her son, Adam Smith of Conway, Arkansas. Her daughter Heather Stacks & son in law Joseph, of Vilonia, Arkansas. Also, her 3 brothers, Richard of Centerview, Missouri, Morris of Vilonia, Arkansas and Craig of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and her sister, Emily Lee of Conway, Arkansas. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

The family will be holding a celebration of life to honor Marilyn at a later time.
